Quote for the week.....

“A garden requires patient labour and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions……They thrive because someone expended effort on them” - Liberty Hyde Bailey.

We hope our new log cabin will have a variety of uses. Primarily used as the projects on site office and base for our team of valued garden volunteers but it could also be used for meeting visitors and activities such as; potential training opportunities, environmental workshop sessions, local schools outdoor classroom activities, health and well being sessions conducted by some of our service users, Junior Wardens activities, for open days and events and possible as a drop in for our local Policing Team and Neighbourhood Wardens.

Quote for the week

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”

Planter sponsorship

We would like to thank local organisations who have confirmed their sponsorship of a raised planter on our new community grow your own scheme. It is very much appreciated and will make a real difference. Details of how you could sponsor a planter are detailed in the letter below.
