Marsh Street Arches and Garden CICs community grow your own scheme includes; 28 raised planters, a small orchard consisting of 2 apple trees, two pear trees and 2 cherry trees, planted borders, a wildlife banking area, a poly tunnel, composting bins, water butts and a timber building.

The timber building is to be used as the projects onsite office space, by volunteers helping on the project, by our service users and for various organised activities such as; potential training workshops, open days and other community events.

The facility also has a wheelchair friendly Natsol compsoting toilet which can be accessed through an arch and onto the community garden site.

Currently (July 2012) all 28 raised planter have been allocated, on a first come first served basis and are completely free of charge, to individuals and a diverse range of local organisations. Among those allocated a planter include; local people, local schools, and local organisations such as; MIND in Furness (mental health charity), CADAS (drug and alcohol awareness support group) and Drop Zone Youth Project.
