WREN support for our community grow your own scheme

We would like to thank WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited) for providing the plaque in recognition of their funding in contribution towards our community grow your own scheme.


Among today's visitors included.....

Jo Day and Neil Forbes from National Trust visiting and helping as part of National Trusts Leap Day where staff are given the day off work to volunteer for a day in their local communities. The 'Local Leap' day celebrates the importance of volunteering as the Trust, which itself enjoys the support of more than 62,000 volunteers, continues to build links with its local communities.


Staff and pupils from St Georges Junior School. During the visit the school were also allocated a raised planter on our community grow your own scheme.

A busy day ahead.....

We are looking forward to a busy day tomorrow. Volunteer maintenance activities, a visit and help from Neil Forbes of the National Trust (Neil is visiting and helping as part of National Trusts Leap Day where staff are given the day off work to volunteer for a day in their local communities. The 'Local Leap' day will celebrate the importance of volunteering as the Trust, which itself enjoys the support of more than 62,000 volunteers, continues to build links with its local communities) a visit from St Georges School and finally a visit from Croftlands Trust.

Community grow your own scheme update

We are pleased to announce that Groundwork, who are project managing the community grow your own scheme on our behalf, have confirmed the schedule of works for the construction process as detailed in the programme of works schedule below. The construction process will begin week commencing Monday 5th March 2012.
