John Muir Trust Visit

Earlier today the Green Heart Den played host to a meeting with representatives from the John Muir Trust who were visiting the garden to learn more about the project as a whole and to discuss the work of Central and Hindpool Junior Wardens and their efforts to achieve a John Muir Discovery Level Award.
Pictures left to right are: Helen Wiggan from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, John Muir Trust inclusion coordinator Miranda Morgan, Senior Neighbourhood Warden Andy High, Junior Warden Lucy Bromley, John Muir Trust regional manager Graham Watson and Green Heart Den volunteer Graham Bromley.
The John Muir Trust is a leading wild land conservation charity. The award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places which encourages awareness and responsibility for the natural environment, in a spirit of fun, adventure and exploration.

Additional information about the work of the Trust can be found on their website here.
